3 1/2 cups powdered sugar

3 tablespoons heavy cream

1 pinch salt


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare cake pans with parchment paper.

2. Whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt.

3. Beat butter, sugar, and peanut butter until light and fluffy.

4. Add eggs one at a time, then mix in vanilla extract.

5. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk, mixing gently.

6. Divide batter into pans and smooth tops.

7. Bake for 25–30 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.

8. Cool cakes completely on a rack.

9. Beat butter and peanut butter for frosting until smooth.

10. Add powdered sugar, cream, and vanilla, then whip until fluffy.
