- 9 oz (250g) cheese tortellini (fresh or refrigerated)
- 2 boneless skinless chicken breasts
- 2 cups broccoli florets
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 3/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- Optional: 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with salt and pepper.
- In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Sear chicken for 5–6 minutes on each side until golden and cooked through. Remove and let rest before slicing.
- Cook tortellini in salted boiling water according to package instructions (3–5 minutes). Drain and set aside.
- In the same pot, blanch broccoli florets for 2–3 minutes. Drain and rinse with cold water to stop cooking.
- In the same skillet, melt butter and add minced garlic. Sauté for 1 minute.
- Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer. Stir in Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens.
- Add sliced chicken, tortellini, and broccoli to the sauce. Toss to coat and simmer for 2–3 more minutes.
- Adjust seasoning with salt, pepper, and optional red pepper flakes.
- Serve hot, garnished with extra Parmesan if desired.
