Ingredients
2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts
8 oz cream cheese
1 cup chicken broth
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
6 slices cooked bacon
1 packet ranch seasoning mix
2 cloves garlic minced
1 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
2 tablespoons chopped green onions
Instructions
1. Trim excess fat from the chicken breasts and place them in the crockpot.
2. Sprinkle ranch seasoning, garlic, onion powder, and black pepper over the chicken.
3. Pour chicken broth around the chicken to keep it moist.
4. Cut cream cheese into cubes and place on top of the chicken.
5. Cover and cook on low for 6–7 hours or high for 3–4 hours.
6. Once cooked, shred the chicken using two forks directly in the crockpot.
7. Stir in shredded cheddar cheese and most of the crumbled bacon.
8. Mix until the sauce becomes smooth and creamy.
9. Garnish with remaining bacon and chopped green onions before serving.
Notes
Use softened cream cheese for smoother melting and better texture.
Cook on low for best flavor and tender chicken results.
Add a splash of broth when reheating to maintain creaminess.
