  • 8 oz (1 block) cream cheese, softened
  • ½ cup green olives, finely chopped (pimento-stuffed recommended)
  • ¼ cup black olives, finely chopped (optional)
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ½ tsp onion powder
  • 1 tbsp olive brine (from the jar)
  • 1 tbsp mayonnaise (optional, for extra creaminess)

Instructions

  1. Let the cream cheese sit at room temperature for about 10–15 minutes to soften.
  2. Finely chop the green olives and black olives (if using), reserving some brine from the jar.
  3. In a bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, chopped olives, garlic powder, onion powder, and olive brine. If using, add mayonnaise for a smoother texture.
  4. Mix well until all ingredients are evenly distributed. If needed, add more olive brine to adjust consistency.
  5. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Serve chilled with crackers, toasted bread, or as a spread for bagels and sandwiches.
