Description

This Best Strawberry Poke Cake is an easy and delicious dessert made with a fluffy cake infused with strawberry gelatin, topped with whipped cream and fresh strawberries. It’s light, refreshing, and perfect for any occasion!


Ingredients

1 box white or yellow cake mix (prepared as directed)

1 package (3 oz) strawberry gelatin

1 cup boiling water

1/2 cup cold water

1 cup fresh strawberries, diced

1 tub (8 oz) whipped topping

Additional fresh strawberries for garnish


Instructions

  1. Preheat oven and prepare cake mix as directed. Bake in a 9×13-inch pan.
  2. Let cake cool slightly, then poke holes all over with a wooden spoon handle.
  3. Dissolve gelatin in boiling water, then stir in cold water.
  4. Pour gelatin mixture evenly over the cake and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  5. Spread whipped topping over the chilled cake and sprinkle with diced strawberries.
  6. Garnish with additional fresh strawberries and serve chilled.
