- 1 (12–16 oz) box mini saltine crackers
- 3/4 cup canola or vegetable oil
- 1 (1 oz) packet ranch dressing mix
- 2 tablespoons crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 tablespoon dried parsley (optional)
- Kosher or flaky sea salt for garnish (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium bowl, whisk together oil, ranch dressing mix, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried parsley until well combined.
- Pour mini crackers into a large gallon-size zip-top bag.
- Add the seasoned oil mixture to the bag.
- Seal the bag and gently toss or turn to coat crackers evenly.
- Let the bag sit at room temperature for 4 hours or overnight, shaking occasionally.
- (Optional) For a quicker finish, bake crackers at 250°F for 15–20 minutes, stirring once.
- Once dry and well-coated, transfer to a serving bowl or airtight container.
