Description

Zesty & Crunchy Texas Firecrackers are a no-bake snack packed with bold ranch flavor and fiery red pepper heat. Perfect for parties, game nights, or on-the-go munching, these seasoned mini crackers are easy to make and even easier to devour.


Ingredients

  • 1 (12–16 oz) box mini saltine crackers
  • 3/4 cup canola or vegetable oil
  • 1 (1 oz) packet ranch dressing mix
  • 2 tablespoons crushed red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 tablespoon dried parsley (optional)
  • Kosher or flaky sea salt for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together oil, ranch dressing mix, red pepper flakes, garlic powder, onion powder, and dried parsley until well combined.
  2. Pour mini crackers into a large gallon-size zip-top bag.
  3. Add the seasoned oil mixture to the bag.
  4. Seal the bag and gently toss or turn to coat crackers evenly.
  5. Let the bag sit at room temperature for 4 hours or overnight, shaking occasionally.
  6. (Optional) For a quicker finish, bake crackers at 250°F for 15–20 minutes, stirring once.
  7. Once dry and well-coated, transfer to a serving bowl or airtight container.
