Description

Celebrate love with this quick, no-bake Valentine’s Strawberry Cheesecake Puppy Chow — a sweet, crunchy mix of pink Chex cereal coated in a rich white chocolate and strawberry cheesecake drizzle, dusted with powdered sugar, and topped with festive heart-shaped sprinkles. It’s perfect for gifting, snacking, or spreading some extra sweetness at parties. Whether you’re looking for cute breakfast ideas, easy snack recipes, or festive food ideas, this Valentine’s treat is the ultimate go-to!

Ingredients

Scale

5 cups strawberry-flavored Chex cereal

8 oz white chocolate chips

2 oz cream cheese, softened

1/4 cup powdered freeze-dried strawberries

1 cup powdered sugar

1/2 tsp vanilla extract

1/4 tsp lemon juice

1 tbsp butter (optional)

Heart-shaped sprinkles or Valentine-themed sprinkles

2 tbsp crushed graham crackers (optional)

Instructions

1. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt white chocolate chips in 30-second bursts, stirring between each until smooth.

2. Stir in cream cheese, powdered freeze-dried strawberries, vanilla extract, lemon juice, and optional butter until smooth.

3. Add Chex cereal to a large mixing bowl. Pour the melted mixture over and gently fold to coat evenly.

4. Transfer the coated cereal to a ziplock bag or lidded container, add powdered sugar, and shake until well coated.

5. Spread the cereal mix on a parchment-lined baking sheet to cool for 10–15 minutes.

6. Once set, toss with heart-shaped sprinkles and crushed graham crackers if desired.

7. Optionally drizzle extra melted white chocolate for a beautiful finish.

8. Serve immediately or store in an airtight container.

Notes

Always melt white chocolate slowly to prevent it from burning or seizing.

Let the mix cool completely before storing to avoid sogginess.

For gifting, pack in festive jars or treat bags and enjoy within a few days.
