  • 1/2 cup bell peppers (diced)
  • 1/2 cup spinach (chopped)
  • 1/4 cup green onions (chopped)
  • 1 clove garlic (minced)
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar or feta cheese
  • 1/2 cup cooked bacon or ham (chopped)
  • 1/4 teaspoon smoked paprika (optional)
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano or fresh basil (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat Oven & Prepare Ingredients: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Chop vegetables, cook any meats, and grate the cheese.
  2. Whisk Eggs: In a bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, salt, and black pepper until combined.
  3. Sauté Vegetables & Proteins: Heat an oven-safe skillet over medium heat, add a little oil or butter, and sauté garlic, bell peppers, and spinach for 3-4 minutes. Stir in cooked bacon or ham.
  4. Pour in Egg Mixture: Reduce heat to low and pour in the egg mixture. Stir gently to distribute fillings evenly.
  5. Add Cheese & Bake: Sprinkle cheese on top and transfer the skillet to the oven. Bake for 12-15 minutes until set but slightly jiggly in the center.
  6. Cool & Serve: Let the frittata rest for 5 minutes before slicing. Garnish with fresh herbs and enjoy!
