Ingredients

Scale

  • 1 lb (450g) boneless, skinless chicken thighs or breasts, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tbsp soy sauce (low-sodium recommended)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp chili flakes (or 1 tbsp hot sauce, adjust to taste)
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1/2 tsp black pepper
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish, optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Chicken – Pat dry and cut into bite-sized pieces.
  2. Make the Glaze – In a bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, garlic, chili flakes (or hot sauce), and black pepper.
  3. Sear the Chicken – Heat olive oil in a pan over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook for 3-4 minutes per side until golden brown.
  4. Add the Honey Glaze – Pour the sauce over the chicken and stir well. Let it simmer for 5 minutes until thickened and caramelized.
  5. Caramelize the Sauce – Keep stirring to ensure even coating and prevent burning.
  6. Serve & Garnish – Remove from heat, sprinkle with fresh parsley, and serve warm over rice, quinoa, or roasted veggies.
