Ingredients

Scale

6 cups rice cereal

1 (10 oz) bag mini marshmallows

4 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 (11 oz) bag soft caramel candies

2 tablespoons heavy cream

3/4 cup salted peanuts

1 1/2 cups milk chocolate chips

1/4 cup creamy peanut butter

Instructions

1. Line a 9×13-inch pan with parchment paper or lightly grease it.

2. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat. Add mini marshmallows and stir until smooth.

3. Remove from heat, stir in rice cereal, and mix quickly until coated. Press into the prepared pan.

4. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine caramel candies and heavy cream. Microwave in intervals until smooth.

5. Stir salted peanuts into the melted caramel, then pour over the rice crispy base. Spread evenly.

6. In another bowl, melt milk chocolate chips and peanut butter together in the microwave. Stir until smooth.

7. Pour chocolate over the caramel layer and spread evenly with a spatula.

8. Let the bars set at room temperature for 1 hour or refrigerate for 30 minutes.

9. Once set, lift out and slice into squares. Serve and enjoy!

Notes

Use fresh marshmallows for the best melt and texture.

Refrigerate for cleaner cuts and neater layers.

Grease your hands or spatula when pressing the rice layer — it makes shaping easier.
