These Slow Cooker Chicken Wings are tender, juicy, and full of flavor. With a simple seasoning blend and your favorite sauce, they cook to perfection in the slow cooker, and a quick broil at the end gives them the perfect crispy finish. Great for game nights, parties, or a simple snack!

Ingredients

Scale

For the Chicken Wings:

  • 2 lbs chicken wings (drums and flats)
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon smoked paprika
  • ½ teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional)

For the Sauce:

  • ½ cup buffalo sauce, BBQ sauce, or honey garlic sauce
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons honey or brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon hot sauce (optional)
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced

For Garnishing (Optional):

  • Chopped fresh parsley
  • Sesame seeds
  • Ranch or blue cheese dressing

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Wings: Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels and toss them in a bowl with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper.
  2. Load the Slow Cooker: Arrange the wings in a single layer in the slow cooker. Set to low for 3-4 hours or high for 2 hours.
  3. Make the Sauce: In a mixing bowl, whisk together the buffalo sauce, soy sauce, honey, apple cider vinegar, Worcestershire sauce, hot sauce, and minced garlic.
  4. Add the Sauce: In the last hour of cooking, pour the sauce over the wings and gently stir to coat.
  5. Broil for Crispiness (Optional): Preheat the oven’s broiler to high. Transfer the wings to a baking sheet lined with a wire rack, brush extra sauce on top, and broil for 3-5 minutes, flipping halfway.
  6. Garnish & Serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley or sesame seeds and serve with ranch or blue cheese dressing. Enjoy!
