Description

This Seafood Salad is a light, refreshing dish that combines tender seafood, crunchy vegetables, and a creamy dressing. Perfect for summer gatherings, barbecues, or a light meal. A delightful combination of flavors that’s simple to make and incredibly satisfying.

Ingredients

Scale

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1 cup crab meat (or imitation crab)
  • 2 stalks celery, chopped
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Boil the shrimp in salted water for 2-3 minutes, until pink and opaque. Drain and let cool before chopping into bite-sized pieces.
  2. If using canned crab, drain it well. If using fresh crab, pick through the meat to remove any shells.
  3. Chop the celery and dill, and squeeze lemon juice into a small bowl.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper to make the dressing. Stir until smooth.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine the shrimp, crab, and chopped vegetables. Pour the dressing over and toss gently to coat everything evenly.
  6. Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
