- 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 1 cup crab meat (or imitation crab)
- 2 stalks celery, chopped
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 2 tablespoons fresh dill, chopped
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Boil the shrimp in salted water for 2-3 minutes, until pink and opaque. Drain and let cool before chopping into bite-sized pieces.
- If using canned crab, drain it well. If using fresh crab, pick through the meat to remove any shells.
- Chop the celery and dill, and squeeze lemon juice into a small bowl.
- In a separate bowl, combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, dill, salt, and pepper to make the dressing. Stir until smooth.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the shrimp, crab, and chopped vegetables. Pour the dressing over and toss gently to coat everything evenly.
- Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes before serving.
