This easy recipe is perfect for quick dinner ideas, healthy meals, easy weeknight dinners, meal prep lunches, and satisfying family meals. Serve these kabobs with pita bread, fresh salads, or creamy yogurt sauce for a delicious and balanced dish.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb ground turkey

2 cloves garlic minced

1/2 cup onion finely grated

1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped

2 tablespoons olive oil

1/3 cup breadcrumbs

1 large egg

1 teaspoon paprika

1/2 teaspoon cumin

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 cup plain Greek yogurt

Instructions

1. Place the ground turkey in a large bowl and add onion, garlic, parsley, breadcrumbs, egg, olive oil, paprika, cumin, salt, and pepper. Mix gently until combined.

2. Divide the mixture into equal portions and shape into oval kabob patties.

3. Place the shaped kabobs on a tray and refrigerate for 15 to 20 minutes.

4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat.

5. Cook the kabobs for about 4 to 5 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked.

6. Remove from the pan and let them rest for a few minutes.

7. Serve warm with yogurt sauce, pita bread, rice, or salad.

Notes

Use ground turkey that contains both white and dark meat for juicier kabobs.

Chilling the shaped kabobs before cooking helps them hold their shape.

Avoid overmixing the meat mixture so the kabobs stay tender.
