Ingredients
1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 1/2 cups white chocolate chips
1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk, divided
2 tablespoons unsalted butter, divided
1/2 teaspoon peppermint extract
1/4 teaspoon salt
1/3 cup crushed peppermint candies
Instructions
1. Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper, leaving an overhang for easy lifting. Lightly grease the paper.
2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine semi-sweet chocolate chips, half of the sweetened condensed milk, 1 tablespoon butter, and a pinch of salt. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
3. In another bowl, melt white chocolate chips with the remaining condensed milk and 1 tablespoon butter. Stir until smooth, then mix in the peppermint extract.
4. Spread the chocolate layer into the prepared pan. Pour the white chocolate mixture over it. Swirl the two gently with a skewer or knife.
5. Sprinkle the crushed peppermint candies over the top, gently pressing them into the surface.
6. Chill the fudge in the refrigerator for at least 3 hours or until firm.
7. Once set, lift the fudge out of the pan and slice into small squares using a sharp knife.
