Whether you’re looking for a fun party dessert, homemade gift, or new food idea to try, this easy recipe is a must-make.

Ingredients

Scale

200g white chocolate baking bars

115g cream cheese, softened

1 tablespoon orange zest

1 teaspoon orange extract

1/4 cup powdered sugar

200g white chocolate (for coating)

50g orange candy melts or colored white chocolate (optional)

2 tablespoons orange sugar crystals (optional)

Instructions

1. Chop the white chocolate baking bars and melt using a double boiler, stirring until smooth. Set aside to cool slightly.

2. In a separate bowl, beat the softened cream cheese until smooth. Add the orange zest and extract and mix well.

3. Combine the melted white chocolate with the cream cheese mixture. Stir until fully incorporated. Chill for 1 hour.

4. Scoop the mixture and roll into balls. Place on parchment-lined tray. If too soft, chill longer.

5. Melt the white chocolate for coating. Dip each truffle, let excess drip, and place back on the tray.

6. Drizzle with melted orange candy melts and sprinkle with orange sugar crystals if using.

7. Let truffles set completely at room temperature or in the refrigerator before serving.

Notes

Softened cream cheese is essential for a lump-free mixture.

Always allow melted chocolate to cool slightly before mixing to avoid curdling.

Work in batches when rolling to prevent the truffles from becoming too soft in warm hands.
