- ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¾ cup unsalted butter, melted and slightly cooled
- 1 ¼ cups packed brown sugar
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- ½ cup milk chocolate chips or chunks (optional)
- ½ cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper and lightly grease.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together flour, baking powder, and salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, stir melted butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until well combined.
- Add eggs and vanilla extract to the wet ingredients. Mix until smooth and thick.
- Fold in the dry ingredients just until combined. Do not over-mix.
