This Olive Oil Dip with Warm Bread is a simple yet flavorful appetizer that brings restaurant-quality dining to your table. Made with high-quality olive oil, aromatic herbs, and warm, crusty bread, it’s perfect for entertaining or a cozy night in.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/3 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp dried oregano
  • 1/2 tsp dried basil
  • 1/2 tsp dried parsley
  • 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes (or to taste)
  • 1 tbsp freshly chopped parsley (for garnish)
  • Salt and freshly cracked black pepper (to taste)
  • 2 tbsp grated parmesan cheese (optional)
  • 1 baguette, ciabatta, or sourdough loaf, sliced

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Slice the bread into thin pieces and place on a baking sheet. Warm in the oven for about 5 minutes, or until slightly crispy on the edges.
  2. In a small serving dish, pour the olive oil as the base.
  3. Add the minced garlic, dried oregano, basil, and parsley to the oil, stirring gently to combine.
  4. Sprinkle in the crushed red pepper flakes and season with salt and freshly cracked black pepper to taste.
  5. Optionally, stir in grated parmesan cheese or use it as a garnish.
  6. Garnish the dip with freshly chopped parsley for a touch of color and brightness.
  7. Serve the olive oil dip alongside the warm bread slices and enjoy!
