Description

Nutella Brownies are a rich, fudgy, and crowd-pleasing dessert that’s quick to make and delivers intense chocolate-hazelnut flavor in every bite. With crisp crackly tops, a gooey interior, and swirls of creamy Nutella throughout, these brownies are the ultimate indulgence—perfect for parties, gifting, or a cozy night in.


Ingredients

1/2 cup unsalted butter

1 cup Nutella

2/3 cup granulated sugar

2 large eggs

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder

1/4 teaspoon salt

1/2 cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate (optional)

Extra Nutella for swirling (optional)

Sea salt flakes (optional)


Instructions

1. In a microwave-safe bowl or saucepan, melt the butter and Nutella together over low heat until smooth. Let cool slightly.

2. In a large bowl, whisk the eggs and sugar for 1–2 minutes until light and thick.

3. Add the cooled Nutella-butter mixture and vanilla to the eggs and stir until combined.

4. In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gently fold into the wet ingredients.

5. Stir in chocolate chips or chunks if using.

6. Line an 8×8-inch pan with parchment paper. Pour in the batter and smooth the top. Add dollops of Nutella on top and swirl, if desired.

7. Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 28–32 minutes, or until the center is just set.

8. Let cool completely in the pan. Then lift out and slice into squares.

Notes

For best swirls, slightly warm the Nutella before adding to the top of the batter.

Use room temperature eggs to ensure smooth blending and better texture.

Don’t overbake—pull them out when the center still looks slightly soft to keep them fudgy.
