Description

Juicy, golden, and packed with flavor, these Mouthwatering Chicken Tenders are an easy dinner recipe ready in under 30 minutes. Pan-seared chicken strips are coated in a savory garlic honey mustard glaze that delivers bold flavor while keeping the meat tender and juicy. Perfect for quick dinner ideas, easy meal prep, family meals, or simple food ideas, this versatile chicken recipe pairs beautifully with rice, roasted vegetables, salads, wraps, or sandwiches.

Ingredients

Scale

1.5 lbs chicken tenders

3 tablespoons olive oil

4 cloves garlic, minced

2 tablespoons honey

1 tablespoon Dijon mustard

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped

1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)

Instructions

1. Pat the chicken tenders dry with paper towels and place them in a bowl. Season with garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper, then drizzle with olive oil and toss to coat.

2. In a small bowl whisk together olive oil, minced garlic, honey, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, and optional red pepper flakes.

3. Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add a tablespoon of olive oil.

4. Place the chicken tenders in a single layer in the hot skillet and cook for 3 to 4 minutes until golden brown.

5. Flip the tenders and cook another 3 to 4 minutes until fully cooked and the internal temperature reaches 165°F.

6. Reduce the heat to medium-low and pour the prepared sauce over the chicken.

7. Toss the chicken in the sauce and allow it to simmer for 2 to 3 minutes until slightly thickened.

8. Remove from heat, garnish with chopped parsley, and serve immediately.

Notes

Pat the chicken dry before cooking so it sears properly and develops a golden crust.

Do not overcrowd the pan; cook the chicken in batches if needed to maintain even browning.

Allow the chicken to rest for a few minutes after cooking so the juices redistribute and the glaze settles.
