Ingredients
1 ripe banana
1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 egg yolk
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
3/4 cup chocolate chips or chopped chocolate
flaky sea salt, for topping (optional)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
2. Mash the banana until mostly smooth.
3. Mix butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until creamy.
4. Add egg yolk and vanilla extract.
5. Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt separately.
