Ingredients

Scale

2 large chicken breasts

1 teaspoon salt

1 teaspoon black pepper

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 teaspoon onion powder

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 tablespoons butter

1 packet ranch seasoning mix

4 ounces cream cheese

1 cup heavy cream

1/2 cup chicken broth

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

6 slices cooked bacon, chopped

2 tablespoons green onions, chopped

Instructions

1. Pat the chicken breasts dry and season both sides with salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.

2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until golden. Remove and set aside.

3. In the same skillet, melt butter and scrape up browned bits for added flavor.

4. Stir in ranch seasoning and cook for about 30 seconds.

5. Add cream cheese and stir until melted, then slowly whisk in heavy cream and chicken broth.

6. Simmer the sauce until smooth and slightly thickened.

7. Return chicken to the skillet and spoon sauce over it. Cover and simmer for 10–12 minutes until fully cooked.

8. Sprinkle cheddar cheese on top, cover, and let it melt.

9. Add chopped bacon and garnish with green onions before serving.

Notes

Use freshly shredded cheese for the best melt and texture.

Let the chicken rest briefly before serving to keep it juicy.

Add a splash of broth when reheating to maintain a creamy sauce.
