Description

Craving the ultimate comfort food combo? These Juicy Smash Burger Tacos blend everything you love about a classic smash burger — the crispy beef, melty cheese, tangy pickles, and creamy burger sauce — with the convenience of a handheld taco. They’re easy to whip up, quick enough for a weeknight dinner, and bursting with flavor. Whether you’re looking for easy dinner ideas, a new party food, or quick lunch inspiration, this is your go-to recipe. These tacos are also perfect for those who love easy recipes with big flavor and minimal fuss.

Ingredients

Scale

1 lb ground beef (80/20)

1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce

1 tsp garlic powder

1 tsp onion powder

Salt and black pepper to taste

1 cup shredded cheddar cheese

8 crunchy taco shells

1 cup shredded iceberg lettuce

1/2 cup dill pickle slices

1/4 cup burger sauce (mayo, ketchup, mustard, paprika, garlic powder)

Optional diced onions, sliced tomatoes, jalapeños

Instructions

1. Mix together mayonnaise, ketchup, mustard, paprika, and garlic powder to make the burger sauce. Refrigerate until use.

2. In a bowl combine ground beef with Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper then divide into 8 equal balls.

3. Heat a cast iron skillet over medium-high heat.

4. Place beef balls into skillet and smash them thin using a spatula.

5. Cook for about 2–3 minutes until crispy.

6. Add cheese on top and allow it to melt.

7. Warm taco shells in a 350°F oven for about 5 minutes.

8. Assemble tacos with beef, lettuce, pickles and burger sauce then serve immediately.

Notes

Serve immediately after assembling so the taco shells stay crispy.

Smash the beef right after placing it on the hot skillet to create the classic smash burger crust.

Make extra burger sauce if you like dipping or extra drizzle.
