- 4 salmon fillets (6 oz each, skin-on preferred)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 tablespoon lemon juice (freshly squeezed)
- 1 tablespoon honey
- 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional garnish)
Instructions
- In a small bowl, whisk together olive oil, lemon juice, honey, paprika, minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
- Place salmon fillets on a tray, skin-side down. Spoon marinade over the fillets. Let marinate at room temperature for 15–30 minutes.
- Preheat grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F / 200°C). Oil the grill grates.
- Place salmon skin-side down on the grill. Cook for 5–6 minutes.
- Flip carefully and cook for an additional 2–4 minutes, until salmon flakes easily and reaches 125°F–130°F internally.
- Remove from grill and let rest 2–3 minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley and extra lemon juice, if desired.
