Description

This Fantasy Fudge is rich, creamy, and incredibly easy to make! With just a few ingredients and a quick preparation time, this fudge recipe is the perfect treat for holidays, gatherings, or a cozy night at home. Each bite melts in your mouth, delivering the perfect balance of sweet chocolate, fluffy marshmallow, and a hint of vanilla.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 3 cups sugar
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 2/3 cup evaporated milk
  • 2 cups semisweet chocolate chips
  • 1 jar marshmallow creme
  • 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Pan: Coat a 9×9 inch baking pan with cooking spray, and line it with parchment paper, leaving a 2-inch overhang on two sides.
  2. Cook the Sugar Mixture: In a large pot over medium heat, combine the sugar, butter, and evaporated milk. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture begins to boil. Continue boiling for 5 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent burning.
  3. Melt the Chocolate: Remove the pot from heat and add the chocolate chips. Stir until completely melted and smooth.
  4. Add Remaining Ingredients: Stir in the marshmallow creme, chopped nuts (if using), and vanilla extract until the mixture is well combined and smooth.
  5. Pour and Set: Pour the fudge mixture into the prepared pan and spread evenly. Allow the fudge to cool at room temperature for about 2 hours or until fully set.
  6. Slice and Serve: Using the parchment paper overhang, lift the fudge out of the pan. Transfer to a cutting board and slice into squares. Enjoy!

Notes

  • For best results, keep the fudge at room temperature while it sets.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to one week, or refrigerate for up to two weeks.
  • Freeze extra fudge by wrapping individual pieces in parchment and storing in a freezer-safe container for up to 3 months.
