Great for anyone searching for food ideas that balance comfort with indulgence.

Ingredients

Scale

8 oz cream cheese, softened

1/2 cup sour cream

1/2 cup mayonnaise

4 hard-boiled eggs, chopped

1 1/2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese

1/4 cup finely chopped chives

1 tsp Dijon mustard

1/2 tsp garlic powder

1/4 tsp onion powder

1/2 tsp smoked paprika

Salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste

1/4 cup cooked and crumbled bacon or diced jalapeños (optional)

Instructions

1. Let cream cheese soften at room temperature for about 30 minutes. Chop eggs and chives, and shred cheddar cheese.

2. In a large bowl, blend softened cream cheese, sour cream, and mayonnaise until smooth using a hand mixer or spatula.

3. Fold in chopped eggs, cheddar, chives, mustard, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Add bacon or jalapeños if using.

4. Transfer mixture to an oven-safe baking dish, smooth the top, and sprinkle with extra paprika and cheese if desired.

5. Bake at 375°F (190°C) for 20–25 minutes until bubbly and golden. For extra browning, broil for the last 1–2 minutes.

6. Let rest 5 minutes after baking. Garnish with chives and serve warm with chips, bread, or veggies.

Notes

Softened cream cheese ensures a smooth dip texture—don’t skip this step.

Add-ins like bacon, green onions, or jalapeños give the dip a custom twist.

Always taste before baking and adjust seasoning as needed.
