Description

Soft, buttery, and packed with flavor, these homemade garlic knots are the perfect side for any Italian meal or a tasty snack all on their own. Easy to make with just a handful of ingredients, these knots come out golden brown on the outside and irresistibly soft on the inside. You’ll love how quickly they bake up and how every bite is bursting with delicious garlic and Parmesan flavor!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 recipe for homemade pizza dough (or your favorite store-bought pizza dough)
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 2 tablespoons pizza seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • Pinch of salt (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or coat with nonstick spray.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together the melted butter, pizza seasoning, Parmesan cheese, and a pinch of salt. Set aside.
  3. Divide the pizza dough into 16 equal pieces.
  4. Roll each piece into a 6-inch rope, about 1/2-inch thick, and gently tie it into a knot.
  5. Place the knots onto the prepared baking sheet and brush each one with half of the butter mixture.
  6. Bake the garlic knots for 8-10 minutes, or until they are golden brown.
  7. Remove from the oven and immediately brush the knots with the remaining butter mixture.
  8. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

  • You can prepare the knots ahead of time. Simply shape the dough and refrigerate them on the baking sheet for up to 24 hours before baking.
  • For a fun variation, sprinkle the knots with extra cheese or fresh herbs before baking.
