For the Peanut Butter Cheesecake Layer:

  • 1 (8 oz) block cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 (8 oz) container whipped topping (like Cool Whip), thawed

For the Chocolate Ganache (optional):

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream

For the Topping:

  • 1 cup whipped topping or sweetened whipped cream
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1012 mini peanut butter cups

Instructions

  1. Prepare the brownie mix according to the package instructions. Bake and let cool completely. Cut into bite-sized cubes.

  3. To make the ganache, heat heavy cream and pour over chocolate chips. Let sit for 1 minute, then stir until smooth. Let cool slightly.
  4. In a large trifle or glass bowl, layer half the brownie cubes. Top with half the peanut butter mixture, drizzle with half of the ganache and caramel.
  5. Repeat the layers with remaining brownies, peanut butter mixture, ganache, and caramel.
  6. Top with whipped topping and garnish with peanut butter cups.
