These adorable heart shaped breadsticks are soft, buttery, and perfect for special occasions. Made with simple pizza dough and brushed with garlic butter and Parmesan, they bake up golden and flavorful. Serve them with your favorite dip or alongside a hearty meal to add a little love to your plate.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated pizza dough (approx. 13.8 oz)
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced (or 1 teaspoon garlic powder)
  • 2 tablespoons grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (or 1 teaspoon dried Italian seasoning)
  • Pinch of salt
  • Optional: red pepper flakes for garnish
  • Marinara sauce for dipping

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface into a 1/4-inch thick rectangle.
  3. Cut dough into strips, about 1 inch wide and 8 inches long.
  4. In a small bowl, mix melted butter, minced garlic, parsley, and a pinch of salt.
  5. Lightly brush each dough strip with the garlic butter mixture.
  6. Fold each strip in half lengthwise, twist the halves together, and curl the ends inward to form a heart. Pinch the bottom to secure.
  7. Place shaped dough hearts on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Brush the tops with more garlic butter and sprinkle with Parmesan and optional red pepper flakes.
  9. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown and puffed.
  10. Serve warm with marinara sauce.
