Description

A quick and flavorful classic guacamole made with ripe avocados, fresh lime juice, red onion, tomatoes, and cilantro. Perfect as a dip, topping, or side dish, and ready in just 10 minutes.


Ingredients

  • 3 ripe Hass avocados
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lime juice (more to taste)
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped red onion
  • 1 Roma tomato, seeded and diced
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt (adjust to taste)
  • 1 small jalapeño, seeded and finely diced (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cut the avocados in half, remove the pits, and scoop the flesh into a medium bowl.
  2. Mash the avocados with a fork or potato masher until desired consistency.
  3. Add lime juice and stir to combine.
  4. Mix in red onion and jalapeño (if using).
  5. Fold in tomatoes and cilantro.
  6. Season with salt and adjust to taste.
  7. Serve immediately, or cover tightly and refrigerate for up to 2 days.
