Perfect for holidays, gatherings, or just when you’re craving something sweet, this easy dessert is ideal for anyone who loves chocolate, coconut, or classic comfort food. Whether you’re searching for an easy recipe, quick dessert idea, or a stunning holiday pie, this one delivers on all fronts.

Ingredients

Scale

1 1/2 cups graham cracker crumbs

1/3 cup melted butter

2 tablespoons granulated sugar

1 can (14 oz) sweetened condensed milk

3/4 cup chopped pecans

3/4 cup shredded coconut

1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

2 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa powder

2 large eggs

1/4 cup unsalted butter

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 egg yolks (for topping)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Mix graham cracker crumbs, melted butter, and sugar. Press into a 9-inch pie dish. Bake for 8–10 minutes until golden. Cool completely.

2. In a saucepan over medium heat, combine sweetened condensed milk, chocolate chips, and cocoa powder. Stir until smooth. Cool slightly.

3. Whisk in eggs, vanilla extract, and salt to the cooled chocolate mixture. Pour into crust.

4. Bake at 350°F for 20–25 minutes, until edges are set and center is slightly wobbly. Cool for 10 minutes.

5. For the topping, cook butter, sweetened condensed milk, and egg yolks over medium heat until thickened (5–7 minutes), stirring constantly.

6. Remove from heat, stir in vanilla, chopped pecans, and shredded coconut.

7. Spoon topping over chocolate layer. Let pie cool to room temp, then chill for at least 2 hours.

8. Garnish with additional pecans and coconut before serving, if desired.

Notes

Use room temperature eggs to avoid curdling in the filling.

Chill overnight for the cleanest slices and best flavor.

Stir the topping constantly to prevent it from sticking or burning.
