Tender, juicy steak bites seared to perfection and tossed in garlicky Parmesan goodness, served over a bed of creamy Cajun-spiced twisted pasta. A bold and comforting dish that’s quick enough for a weeknight yet impressive enough for entertaining.
Ingredients
For the Steak Bites:
- 1 ½ pounds sirloin, ribeye, or tenderloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 3 tablespoons olive oil
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- ¼ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- Fresh chopped parsley or chives, optional for garnish
For the Cajun Twisted Pasta:
- 12 ounces rotini pasta (or any twisted pasta)
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 to 1 ½ tablespoons Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
- Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- Reserved pasta water, as needed

Prepare the Steak
Pat steak cubes dry, season with salt and pepper, and let rest for 10–15 minutes. -
Cook the Pasta
Boil pasta in salted water until al dente. Reserve ½ cup pasta water, then drain and set aside. -
Sear the Steak Bites
Heat olive oil in a hot skillet. Sear steak bites in batches for 2 minutes per side. Remove and set aside. -
Make Garlic Butter
In the same skillet, lower heat to medium, add butter and garlic, sauté for 30 seconds. -
Toss Steak Bites with Parmesan
Return steak to skillet, toss with garlic butter, sprinkle with Parmesan, garnish with parsley. -
Prepare Cajun Pasta Sauce
In another pan, melt butter, sauté garlic. Add cream, Parmesan, and Cajun seasoning, whisk until smooth. Season to taste. -
Combine Pasta & Sauce
Toss cooked pasta in sauce, use reserved pasta water to adjust consistency. -
Serve
Plate pasta, top with garlic Parmesan steak bites. Serve immediately!
