Description

Rich, buttery, and loaded with garlic flavor, these Garlic Noodles come together in under 20 minutes using simple pantry staples. Perfect as a main or side, they’re comforting, customizable, and irresistibly delicious.

Ingredients

Scale

8 oz spaghetti

4 tbsp unsalted butter

6 cloves garlic, minced

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp brown sugar

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (optional)

1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)

Instructions

1. Cook spaghetti in salted boiling water until al dente. Reserve 1/2 cup pasta water and drain.

2. In a large skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1–2 minutes.

3. Add soy sauce and brown sugar to the skillet. Stir until sugar dissolves.

4. Toss in the cooked spaghetti and reserved pasta water as needed to loosen the sauce.

5. Stir in Parmesan and red pepper flakes. Mix until noodles are evenly coated and glossy.

6. Serve hot, garnished with parsley and extra Parmesan if desired.

Notes

Use freshly minced garlic for the best flavor.

Don’t overcook the garlic; it should be lightly golden, not brown.

Add your favorite protein like shrimp, chicken, or tofu for a heartier meal.
