Description
Tender, juicy steak bites are seared to perfection and smothered in a rich, creamy garlic butter parmesan sauce. A quick and indulgent dish perfect for weeknight dinners or special occasions.
Ingredients
- 1 lb steak (sirloin, ribeye, or tenderloin), cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
- Salt, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
-
Pat steak pieces dry with paper towels. Season all sides generously with salt and black pepper.
-
Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
-
Add steak bites in a single layer. Sear for 1–2 minutes per side until browned and cooked to your preferred doneness. Work in batches if necessary. Transfer steak to a plate and set aside.
-
Lower heat to medium. In the same skillet, add butter and minced garlic. Cook, stirring constantly, for 30 seconds to 1 minute until fragrant.
-
Pour in the heavy cream, bring to a gentle simmer, and cook for 2–3 minutes until slightly thickened.
-
Gradually whisk in parmesan cheese until smooth and creamy. Adjust seasoning with more salt and pepper if needed.
-
Return steak bites (and any accumulated juices) to the skillet, stirring to coat in the sauce. Heat through for 1–2 more minutes.
-
Garnish with fresh parsley if desired. Serve immediately.
