Ingredients

Scale

450g sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes

3 garlic cloves, minced

3 tablespoons unsalted butter

1 tablespoon olive oil

1 teaspoon salt

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

250g pasta shells

1 1/2 cups heavy cream

1 1/2 cups sharp cheddar cheese, shredded

1/2 cup Parmesan cheese, grated

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/4 teaspoon onion powder

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped (optional)

Instructions

1. Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the pasta shells and cook until al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

2. In a saucepan, heat the heavy cream over medium heat until it starts to simmer. Stir in garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.

3. Gradually add shredded cheddar and Parmesan, stirring constantly until the sauce is creamy and smooth. Lower the heat to keep warm.

4. Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels. Season generously with salt and black pepper.

5. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over high heat. Add steak in a single layer and sear for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown and cooked to your liking. Cook in batches if necessary.

6. Reduce the heat to medium and add butter and minced garlic to the skillet. Stir to coat the steak bites evenly and cook for 1 minute until fragrant.

7. Spoon cheddar Alfredo shells onto plates. Top with garlic butter steak bites. Garnish with chopped parsley if desired.

8. Serve immediately while hot and creamy.

Notes

Always dry your steak bites thoroughly before cooking to get that perfect sear.

Use freshly grated cheese for a silky-smooth Alfredo sauce.

If the sauce thickens too much while resting, stir in a splash of pasta water to loosen it before serving.
