Ingredients

Scale

For the Steak Bites:

  • 1 ½ lbs sirloin, ribeye, or tenderloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • ½ tsp paprika (optional)

For the Garlic Butter Sauce:

  • 3 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
  • ½ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1 tsp lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Steak: Pat the steak bites dry with a paper towel. In a bowl, season with salt, black pepper, and paprika. Toss to coat evenly.
  2. Heat the Pan: Place a cast iron skillet over high heat. Add olive oil and let it heat up.
  3. Sear the Steak Bites: Add the steak bites in a single layer. Sear for 2-3 minutes without touching, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes. Remove from the pan and set aside.
  4. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: Reduce heat to medium-low. Add butter to the pan. Once melted, add minced garlic and sauté for 30 seconds. Stir in red pepper flakes and lemon juice if using.
  5. Coat the Steak Bites: Return the steak bites to the pan, tossing them in the garlic butter sauce for 30 seconds.
  6. Serve and Enjoy: Garnish with fresh parsley and serve hot with your favorite sides.
