Ingredients
- 1 cup crushed Doritos (flavor of your choice)
- 6 oz cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or a blend), cut into small pieces or shredded
- 12 wonton wrappers
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- Oil for frying (canola or vegetable)

Prepare Cheese: Cut cheese into small squares or use shredded cheese.

Crush Doritos: Place Doritos in a zip-top bag and crush into fine crumbs. Pour onto a plate.

Set Up Dredging Station: Place flour in one shallow dish, beaten egg in another, and crushed Doritos in a third.

Fill Wontons: Place cheese in the center of each wonton wrapper. Lightly brush edges with water and fold to seal.

Coat Wontons: Dredge each stuffed wonton in flour, then egg, then crushed Doritos. Press crumbs to adhere well.

Heat Oil: Heat oil to 350°F (175°C) in a deep skillet or pot.

Fry Wontons: Fry stuffed wontons in batches for 2–3 minutes per side until golden brown.
