Perfect for quick desserts, easy entertaining, or cozy winter nights. Whether you’re looking for Christmas dessert ideas, an easy recipe for dinner parties, or a new twist on traditional tiramisu — this is the one to try!

Ingredients

Scale

1 cup eggnog

1 cup mascarpone cheese

1 cup heavy cream (cold)

1/3 cup powdered sugar

1/2 cup strong brewed espresso or coffee (cooled)

18 savoiardi (ladyfingers)

2 tablespoons dark rum or brandy (optional)

1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg

1/4 teaspoon ground cinnamon

1 teaspoon vanilla extract

2 tablespoons cocoa powder (for dusting)

Instructions

1. In a mixing bowl, whip the heavy cream until stiff peaks form. Set aside.

2. In another bowl, beat together mascarpone, eggnog, powdered sugar, vanilla extract, and nutmeg until smooth.

3. Fold the whipped cream gently into the mascarpone mixture to keep it light and fluffy.

4. Mix the cooled espresso with dark rum or brandy (if using) in a shallow bowl.

5. Quickly dip each ladyfinger into the coffee mixture (1–2 seconds each side) and layer them into serving glasses.

6. Spoon a layer of the eggnog mascarpone cream over the ladyfingers.

7. Repeat with another dipped layer of ladyfingers, then more cream.

8. Cover and refrigerate for at least 4 hours, preferably overnight.

9. Before serving, top with whipped cream, dust with cocoa powder, and sprinkle with cinnamon.

10. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

Don’t over-soak the ladyfingers; a quick dip is enough to prevent sogginess.

Chill overnight for the best flavor and texture development.

Use cold heavy cream for best whipping results.
