  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 medium onion, diced
  • 2 cups frozen mixed vegetables
  • 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 bag (32 oz) frozen tater tots

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. In a large skillet, cook ground beef over medium heat until browned. Add diced onion and cook until softened. Season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.
  3. Drain any excess fat. Stir in cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and frozen vegetables. Cook for 2-3 minutes until well combined.
  4. Spread the mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle half the cheese on top.
  5. Arrange tater tots in a single layer over the cheese.
  6. Top with remaining cheese.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, until the tots are golden and the filling is bubbly.
  8. Let rest for 5-10 minutes before serving.
