- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups elbow macaroni (uncooked)
- 1 (15-ounce) can tomato sauce
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Optional: Fresh parsley, grated Parmesan

Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside. -
Sauté Aromatics:
