Looking for an easy dessert that hits all the comforting notes of cinnamon, sugar, and buttery goodness? These Easy Cinnamon Sugar Blondies are your answer. With a chewy center, crisp cinnamon-sugar top, and only basic pantry ingredients, they’re perfect as a quick dessert, an afternoon snack, or even a cozy breakfast treat. Whether you’re after easy dessert ideas, quick baked goods, or snack recipes, these blondies deliver flavor without fuss.

Ingredients

Scale

1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted

1 cup granulated sugar

1 large egg, room temperature

1 tablespoon vanilla extract

1 cup all-purpose flour

1/4 teaspoon salt

2 tablespoons granulated sugar (for topping)

1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon (for topping)

Optional: 1/4 cup white chocolate chips or cinnamon chips

Optional: pinch of nutmeg

Instructions

1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line an 8×8-inch baking pan with parchment paper or grease it lightly.

2. In a large bowl, whisk melted butter and 1 cup sugar until smooth.

3. Add egg and vanilla extract; whisk until creamy.

4. Stir in flour and salt. Mix until just combined.

5. Spread the thick batter evenly into the prepared pan.

6. Mix 2 tablespoons sugar and 1 1/2 teaspoons cinnamon in a small bowl, then sprinkle evenly over the top.

7. Bake for 22–26 minutes, or until the edges are golden and the center is just set.

8. Let cool for at least 20 minutes before slicing into squares.

Notes

Brown the butter first for a deeper, nuttier flavor.

To avoid a soggy top, don’t cover while cooling.

Double the batch in a 9×13 pan and bake for 28–32 minutes.
