  • Yield: About 1.5 cups of sauce (4 servings) 1x

Description

This Easy Cajun Cream Sauce is a bold, spicy, and creamy Southern-inspired sauce that pairs perfectly with chicken, shrimp, pasta, or vegetables. It’s made with simple ingredients like butter, garlic, Cajun seasoning, and heavy cream, finished with Parmesan for richness.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 to 1.5 tablespoons Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Optional: Pinch of crushed red pepper flakes

Instructions

  1. In a medium skillet over medium heat, melt the butter.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 30 seconds).
  3. Stir in Cajun seasoning and let it toast briefly, about 15-20 seconds.
  4. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring to combine. Reduce heat to low and let it simmer for 4-5 minutes.
  5. Stir in Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce thickens.
  6. Taste and season with salt and pepper. Adjust spice level if needed.
