Ingredients

  • 20 square wonton wrappers
  • 2 medium apples (peeled, cored, and finely diced)
  • 4 tablespoons caramel sauce (plus more for drizzling, if desired)
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • 2 tablespoons melted butter or cooking spray
  • Powdered sugar for dusting

Instructions

  1. Peel, core, and finely dice the apples.

  2. In a bowl, toss the diced apples with caramel sauce and cinnamon (if using).

  3. Lay a wonton wrapper on a clean surface. Place about 1 teaspoon of the apple mixture in the center.

  4. Wet the edges of the wrapper with water and fold into a triangle or purse shape, pressing edges to seal tightly.

  5. Lightly brush the wontons with melted butter or spritz with cooking spray.

  6. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C).

  7. Arrange wontons in a single layer in the air fryer basket.

  8. Air fry for 5–7 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

  9. Remove and dust with powdered sugar. Serve warm, optionally with extra caramel or ice cream.
