- 12 oz uncooked rotini, penne, or ziti
- 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
- 2 cups water or broth
- 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
- 1 lb frozen meatballs
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
- Fresh parsley or basil for garnish
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Mix uncooked pasta, marinara sauce, water or broth, and Italian seasoning in the baking dish.
- Add frozen meatballs, ensuring they are slightly submerged.
- Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 35-40 minutes.
- Remove foil, sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top, and bake uncovered for another 10-15 minutes.
- Let cool for a few minutes, garnish with fresh parsley or basil, and serve warm.
