This Dump and Bake Meatball Casserole is an easy, cheesy, and satisfying dish perfect for busy weeknights. With no pre-cooking required, simply mix the ingredients, bake, and enjoy a comforting meal the whole family will love.


Ingredients

  • 12 oz uncooked rotini, penne, or ziti
  • 1 (24 oz) jar marinara sauce
  • 2 cups water or broth
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 lb frozen meatballs
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional)
  • Fresh parsley or basil for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Mix uncooked pasta, marinara sauce, water or broth, and Italian seasoning in the baking dish.
  3. Add frozen meatballs, ensuring they are slightly submerged.
  4. Cover tightly with aluminum foil and bake for 35-40 minutes.
  5. Remove foil, sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese on top, and bake uncovered for another 10-15 minutes.
  6. Let cool for a few minutes, garnish with fresh parsley or basil, and serve warm.
