10.5 oz can cream of mushroom soup

1 cup sour cream

1/2 cup milk or chicken broth (optional)

1/2 teaspoon black pepper

1/2 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon onion powder

1/2 teaspoon dried thyme (optional)

6 oz box of stuffing mix

1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted

1/2 cup chicken broth (for moistening stuffing)

Chopped fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. In a large bowl, mix shredded chicken, soups, sour cream, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and thyme. Add milk or broth if needed for consistency.

3. Spread the chicken mixture evenly into the casserole dish.

4. In another bowl, combine stuffing mix with melted butter and 1/2 cup broth. Stir until just moistened.

5. Spread the stuffing mixture over the chicken base and press lightly.

6. Bake uncovered for 30–35 minutes until the top is golden and bubbling.

7. Let it rest for 5–10 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh parsley.

Notes

Use rotisserie chicken to save time and boost flavor.

Add frozen or steamed vegetables like peas, green beans, or broccoli for extra nutrition.

Broil for the last 2–3 minutes if you like a crispier stuffing topping.
