- 1 cup (200g) granulated sugar
- 1 large egg
- 1 ½ teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 ½ cups (315g) all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt

Instructions
- In a large bowl, beat the softened butter and sugar together until light and fluffy.

- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt.
