Ingredients

Scale

1 lb Brussels sprouts

1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese

2 tbsp olive oil

1/2 tsp salt

1/4 tsp black pepper

1/2 tsp garlic powder (optional)

2 tbsp panko breadcrumbs (optional)

Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly grease it with olive oil.

2. Rinse and pat dry Brussels sprouts. Trim the ends and slice in half lengthwise.

3. In a bowl, toss the Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, pepper, and garlic powder (if using).

4. Add parmesan and panko breadcrumbs (if using). Toss again until evenly coated.

5. Arrange sprouts cut-side down on the baking sheet in a single layer.

6. Roast for 20–25 minutes, checking at the 20-minute mark for doneness.

7. Remove from oven and let cool for 2 minutes. Optionally, top with extra parmesan or a squeeze of lemon juice.

8. Serve warm and enjoy the cheesy, crispy perfection.

Notes

For maximum crispiness, always place sprouts cut-side down and avoid crowding the pan.

Use freshly grated parmesan cheese—pre-shredded cheese doesn’t melt as well.

To reheat leftovers, use the oven or air fryer to bring back that crispy texture.
