  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 4 boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil or melted butter for brushing or drizzling

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
  2. Pound the chicken breasts to an even thickness if needed, then season with salt, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.
  3. Set up three shallow dishes: one with flour, one with beaten eggs, and one with a mix of breadcrumbs and cheddar cheese.
  4. Dredge each chicken breast in flour, dip into the eggs, then coat with the breadcrumb-cheese mix. Optional: repeat egg and breadcrumb steps for extra crunch.
  5. Place chicken on a greased or parchment-lined baking sheet. Drizzle or brush with olive oil or butter.
  6. Bake for 25–30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C) and the coating is golden and crispy.
  7. If pan-frying, cook in a hot skillet with oil or butter over medium-high heat for 5–6 minutes per side.
  8. Garnish with parsley and serve hot.
