  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp Cajun seasoning
  • ½ tsp garlic powder
  • ¼ tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Chopped parsley, for garnish

For the Creamy Cajun Sauce:

 

  • ¼ cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp sour cream
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 1 tsp lemon juice
  • ½ tsp Cajun seasoning
  • Pinch of paprika
  • Optional: a few dashes of hot sauce
  • Fresh parsley, for garnish

Instructions

  • Prep the Shrimp: Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels. In a bowl, toss them with olive oil, Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Let rest for 5–10 minutes.
  • Make the Sauce: In a separate bowl, whisk together mayonnaise, sour cream, Dijon mustard, lemon juice, Cajun seasoning, paprika, and hot sauce. Taste and adjust seasoning.
  • Cook the Shrimp: Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add shrimp in a single layer and sear for 2 minutes per side, or until cooked through and crispy. Work in batches if needed.
