  • 4 medium Russet potatoes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  • Optional: fresh parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Wash and peel the potatoes (optional), then cut them into 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick fries.
  2. Soak the fries in a bowl of cold water for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Drain and thoroughly pat the fries dry with paper towels.
  4. Toss the fries in a bowl with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
  5. Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
  6. Place fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary.
  7. Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
  8. Remove and serve immediately. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
