- 4 medium Russet potatoes
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Optional: fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Wash and peel the potatoes (optional), then cut them into 1/4 to 1/2 inch thick fries.
- Soak the fries in a bowl of cold water for at least 30 minutes.
- Drain and thoroughly pat the fries dry with paper towels.
- Toss the fries in a bowl with olive oil, salt, pepper, garlic powder, and paprika.
- Preheat the air fryer to 400°F (200°C) for 3-5 minutes.
- Place fries in a single layer in the air fryer basket; cook in batches if necessary.
- Air fry for 15-20 minutes, shaking the basket halfway through cooking.
- Remove and serve immediately. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired.
