- 2 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 3 cups chicken broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 8 oz linguine pasta
- Salt and pepper, to taste
- Fresh parsley, chopped (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Season chicken breasts with Cajun seasoning, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet or Dutch oven over medium-high heat. Sear chicken for 4–5 minutes per side until cooked through. Remove and set aside.
- Lower the heat and add butter. Once melted, sauté minced garlic for about 30–60 seconds until fragrant.
- Pour in chicken broth, scraping up any browned bits. Stir in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
- Add Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth.
- Add linguine to the pot, cover, and simmer for 10–12 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Slice cooked chicken and return to the pot, letting everything cook together for 2–3 more minutes.
- Garnish with chopped parsley, toss, and serve hot.
